The Minerva was one of the first bags I designed for MM, and it has been one of our most loved and appreciated styles. It has been a full 12 years since its creation, and its removal from our catalog had been planned for a long time. Being one of our most iconic styles, and one to which I am personally most attached, I always struggled to accept its retirement. So, a few months ago, I decided to start working on a complete restyling to breathe new life into this gorgeous model.

The bag has been completely redesigned while keeping its highly personal look intact, characterized by the large, soft front flap. The two front pockets and the internal divider have been removed to create a much lighter and more comfortable bag to wear. The lines are now much softer, creating an even more elegant look than before. The volumes and dimensions are very similar to the original to preserve the generous interior space, allowing you to use the bag both as an elegant accessory and as a work bag. The weight of the bag has decreased significantly, making it even more comfortable to carry. The Minerva comes with a removable padded shoulder strap and a crossbody strap so it can be worn in many different ways. Like its predecessor, the new Minerva is available in 3 different sizes to best meet the needs of all our clients. Finally, the price: unlike all our competitors, we managed to slightly reduce the price of the new Minerva instead of increasing it!

The leather type remains the same, but the surface of this version of Guantino features a micro-grain instead of being almost completely flat like the regular version. Personally, I think the result is truly magnificent, as we managed to combine the quality and softness of Guantino with a slightly bolder look than before. The tannery has provided us with an impressive 14 colors of this new version of Guantino.
