I hope with all my heart that you’re all healthy and safe! As many of you know, due to the Covid-19 lockdown MM stopped production for 6 weeks and restarted on May 5th.
These past 6 weeks we decided to focus exclusively on production. Our goal was to cover the unexpected loss in production created by the pandemic and in general to try and reduce our average lead time.
Finally we can start thinking about the future and, with summer just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to introduce our straw collection! Thanks to my personal relationship with one of the most famous Italian fabric producers I am able to acquire 6 colors of beautiful top quality straw. We have combined it with Cuoio Toscano in a new “natural cuoio” color and the result is stunning. Using some of our best selling styles along with 2 additional styles that many of you have been requesting for quite some time: a “midi” version of our Diva bucket bag and a “midi” version of our Hera. Please note not all MM styles are suitable to me made using straw. The only other MM style we will be offering in addition to the 5 styles is the regular Selene (not zipper Selene) as well as the full size Hera, Soulmate and Diva.

Straw can be combined with any other current official MM leather. If you choose to replace “natural cuoio” Cuoio Toscano with a different leather my recommendation is that you select Cuoio Toscano, Vacchetta, Aquila Matte or Pompei. Light and thin leathers such as Merinos are not suitable to be used in combination with Straw.
The Straw summer collection is a limited production run available as a special offer for just 4 days, starting Thursday June 11th through Sunday June 14th. Straw availability is limited so orders will be based on “first come, first served”.
The cost of this high quality straw is in line with the cost of our Pompei or Pebbled leather. Based on our basic leathers price list this special collection will be sold with a 10% off and we will also offer a free hardware and lining upgrade. To make this offer even more unique, first 10 orders will receive a free MM pendant.
