The Decision
The worst part of the Massaccesi experience is definitely the decision to actually make a purchase. It can be so intimidating... So many designs, so many leathers! Whaaat??? 21 lining colors? I give up.
Fear not. All MM customers have gone through this process and emerged on the other side with stunning, one-of-a-kind handbags that is a marriage of your taste and the designer’s taste. Here’s what you do:
1. Head over to purseforum.com (TPF) and navigate to the Massaccesi thread in the Handbags & Purses section (https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/massaccesi-handbags.878845/page-2101#post-33598086)
2. Explain what you’re looking for in general and watch the responses flow in. The ladies on TPF have a wealth of personal experiences and they will be more than happy to guide you to your perfect bag. They will suggest styles, leather types, share mod shots to help you through the decision-making process.
3. Email orders@marcomassaccesi.it and consult with Marco Massaccesi himself. Part of the MM experience is to discuss (via e-mail) with Marco directly so I advise you to consult with him if you are on the fence about a bag. I always ask him for lining and hardware suggestions because he is right there and he can see the colors in person. He has emailed me comparison pics of the leather/colors that I’m thinking of to help me make the call. Marco believes deeply in customer service so don’t feel shy about asking questions and taking your time to make your decision. It is expected.
The Ordering
As simple as it gets, simply email orders@marcomassaccesi.it with the details of the order, or if you have been chatting with Marco on your bag design, simply confirm that you want to move forward. He will send you an invoice detailing the order via Paypal and then you pay using Paypal. You can opt for standard shipping (1-2 weeks) or expedited shipping (a few days).

Take a few deep breaths. Maybe take up Tai-Chi. Or head over to TPF to watch everybody’s reveals knowing that soon it will be YOUR turn!

The Honeymoon
Share the love! Take pictures of your new beauty, post them on TPF or upload them to the “We are MM” area of the MM website. Then call your friends and arrange for a meet-up for no reason at all… With luck, they will immediately notice your stunning new bag and admire both it and your level of taste. I’ve noticed that plonking it down right in front of their noses helps with this 😊
